This week, a couple of Single Tree family members went to try a new coffee shop in near-by Shiloh, IL. June’s is a local family owned place that opened on March 31st, 2022. Everything they serve is either locally sourced from a variety of neighboring farms, or grown and sustained on their property. June’s is proud to be a farm-to-table, echo friendly place. They compost their food waste for regrowing purposes.

The Menu

June’s menu is variable based on seasonal options, and therefore will change periodically. They will always have a great variety of coffee drinks {from lattes to some with alcohol}, as well as their very popular bloody Mary’s, mimosas and more! Currently, their breakfast sandwich is a favorite and is made with pork sausage, eggs, white cheddar, homemade garlic mayo, on sourdough brioche! 

Local Partners

Local partners include Rustic Roots farm, Double Star farm, Knead Bakehouse and many more. June’s is in the process of expanding their lot for more growing of plants and vegetables. 

The Renovation

The renovation of the old farmhouse is charming and it includes an upstairs level with private reading nooks, as well as a very nice outdoor patio area. One of our daughters, our youngest grandson and I {yours truly, Yvonne Ziegel} enjoyed sour cream coffee cake muffins, bourbon chocolate chip cookies, and iced caramel coffee today. Delicious!!

The Single Tree family gave June’s two big thumbs up! The coffee was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. If you’re looking for a new place to get your coffee or tea fix, we highly recommend June’s!
